Two companies, EMPACT and Written Images, were combined in 1993 under the name Communications and Documentations Technologies -- CDT. EMPACT (established in 1986) is CDT's engineering and manufacturing component, specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of electronic controls, graphic annunciators, and microcomputer-based display systems. Written Images (established in 1981) is the documentations component of CDT, specializing in technical writing, multimedia, and marketing materials. As reorganized, CDT is more efficient and streamlined, offering our customers a complete, integrated line of services.
