Alarm messages can be reconfigured in the field without removing the system from service. You decide the alarm messages you wish to send.
Encoder circuitry stacks multiple alarm messages and sends them out one after the other. No alarms are lost. A built-in test feature sends alarm messages through the internal amplifier and
loudspeaker.
The radio transmitter provides a nominal two-watt or five-watt radio frequency output for communication to the RANS-Voice receivers or two-way radios. HF, VHF, UHF, and 900 MHz
frequencies are available. The radio transmitter is remotely located near the antenna and communicates to the alarm encoder via a telephone line type connection.
The RANS-DV portable alarm receiver functions like a voice message pocket pager. Each receiver has its own unique code but can also be called as a group for alarm messages. When an alarm
is sent, the RANS-DV portable alarm receiver emits an alarm tone followed by the audio alarm message. Alarm receivers can be configured for use as a radio paging system as well as an alarm system. RANS-DV portable receivers are ruggedly constructed and can be provided with optional leather holsters for added protection. Battery chargers and storage racks are also available.
