PURPOSE

To provide a compact alarm receiver, decoder, and display compatible with the Mobile Map Plus system that can be easily mounted in remote tower locations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Function with the MMP programming scheme.
• Rack mounted in 1-3/4" standard rack space.
• Powered by 120 VAC.

OPERATION

The unit is constantly powered whenever plugged in.

On turn-on the audible device sounds three times and the digital display lights for the same period of time.

During normal carrying (non-alarm) operation, all lamps and displays are OFF.

Upon alarm:

• Audible beeps until acknowledged by pressing the panel mounted Acknowledge button. Beep rate is approximately once per second.
• Digital display illuminates and flashes to show zone number in alarm until acknowledge button is pressed, or alarm is reset at control.
• If subsequent alarms occur, the alarms will re-illuminate and the audible alarm will sound as if for any alarm. New alarms will appear as flashing until acknowledged.

Inside View

• When more than one alarm is on the system, the digital display will cycle through the alarm numbers of the zones in alarm and the graphic display will show the zones in alarm.

The INT lamp (yellow) will flash with each received alarm signal as with current program.

The REC lamp (red) will not light unless a valid alarm or supervisory signal has not been received for a period of 8 minutes. When the REC lamp is lighted it will flash at a once-per-5-second rate, and the audible alarms will emit a ``chirp" signal indication to the officer that there is a problem.
