- Continued pressing of the button until you hear the word ``message" causes the system to transmit through the local loudspeaker each preprogrammed alarm message for
each programmed alarm input.
- Continued pressing of the button until you hear the word ``CD log" causes the system to tell you in normal English through the local loudspeaker the number of times the
system has had to wait due to conflicting operation of another system on the same radio frequency.
- Continued pressing of the button until you hear the word ``program" causes the system to enter the program mode. This mode is only available when the system is first
powered and should not be used the field.
RS-232 INTERFACE SOFTWARE
The serial computer connection can be interfaced to any PC computer using a standard interconnection cable. The RANS has a DB-9F connector for this purpose. Alarms are transmitted to the RANS encoder
circuit board using a simplified command set. The command information and sample software diskette is available from CDT.
